How we weigh research
Where the work happens
We formulate across two areas of the literature. The compounds below are among the most studied in each. Complete panels for every product live on the product pages.
Attention and drive run on catecholamines. Learning and memory run on acetylcholine and the slow work of consolidation. The compounds with the strongest human evidence act on those systems directly: some within the hour, some over weeks of consistent use.
Alcohol is processed by the liver, which converts it to acetaldehyde before clearing it. The work in this area centers on botanical extracts studied for alcohol metabolism and normal liver function, taken before drinking rather than the morning after.
What we’re working on
Caffeine alone peaks fast, falls hard, and has little impact on cognitive function. Pairing it with theanine and staging slower actives behind it stretches the curve and opens cognitive capabilities. The open question is how far, and for whom.
Compounds like Bacopa show effects at weeks four to twelve, not day one. We are interested in what daily use compounds into over a quarter, and how to measure it honestly.
Acetaldehyde clearance, depletion, and fragmented sleep each carry part of the blame. Separating those variables decides what a recovery formula should even target.
The format is part of the formula
