Brain fog. The morning after. The sick day that turns into three. By the time you feel any of it, you're already downstream of it. Our name is our method: trace the problem back to the point where it begins — and formulate for that.
This didn't start as a company. It started as a fix.
We started Origin in our late twenties, in the middle of building other companies, chronically out of week. The long days were by choice. The problem was everything inside those days working against us — focus that faded by mid-afternoon, and weekends that came with a cover charge: one good Saturday night, one Sunday that never really started.
The shelf had nothing honest to offer. Everything was built for the feeling — more stimulants for the fog, electrolytes and folklore for the morning after. Nothing was built for the cause. So we did what you do with a problem nobody's solving properly: we went at it ourselves. We traced each one upstream to the mechanism behind it and formulated there — something for the pathways behind deep, sustained focus, and something for acetaldehyde, the byproduct that actually ruins the next day.
Somewhere in that process we realized we weren't making two products. We were building a method — one that applies to anything that quietly taxes your hours. The method needed a name. Origin just made sense.
The supplement industry has a trust problem. It earned it.
Most of the aisle runs the same playbook: chase whatever ingredient is trending, pad the formula to twenty names, and build for the symptom — because the symptom is what sells. Stimulants that lend you an afternoon and charge interest the next morning. Products designed to impress at a glance and quit right after. It's formulation for the shelf, not for the person taking it.
We're not interested in being a louder version of that. We're interested in being the opposite of it.

Every product begins as a map of the pathway behind the problem. If we can't explain how it works, it doesn't get made.
Dose at full strength
An ingredient goes in at a level meant to matter — or it doesn't go in at all. No padding a formula just to lengthen the list.
Protect the formula
Every ingredient we use is named right on the label. The exact ratios are not — the ratio is the work, and anything worth copying is worth protecting.
Subtract ruthlessly
No filler. Nothing decorative. If an ingredient doesn't serve the mechanism, it doesn't make the formula.
